Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
GLP-1 Shotday ("we", "us", "our") provides the GLP-1 Shotday mobile application (the "App"), a personal injection and health-metric tracker for people using GLP-1 medications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: if you create an account, we may collect an email address or device identifier used to sync your data.
- Health & tracking data you enter: injection times and doses, medication type, drug-level estimates, body composition (weight, body fat %), and notes you add in the App.
- Apple Health data: if you enable Apple Health sync, the App reads and/or writes specific HealthKit metrics (such as weight and body composition) strictly to provide the syncing feature you requested. Health data accessed through HealthKit is never used for advertising or marketing purposes and is never sold.
- Purchase data: subscription status and transaction identifiers, handled by Apple and our subscription infrastructure provider (RevenueCat). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage & device data: basic diagnostic and usage information (app version, device type, crash logs) used to keep the App working correctly.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide core features: injection history, drug-level graphs, body composition tracking, PDF export, and Apple Health sync.
- To sync your data across your own devices when you are signed in.
- To process and manage your subscription (free trial, renewal, cancellation).
- To maintain, secure, and improve the App, and to diagnose technical issues.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third parties to operate the App. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their service to us:
- Google Firebase — cloud storage and sync of your account and tracking data.
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
- Apple App Store / HealthKit — payment processing and, if enabled, Health data syncing.
We do not sell your personal or health information to anyone, and we do not use your health data for advertising.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We restrict access to personal data to what is necessary to operate the App.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR in the EU/UK and CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and, where required, we will provide additional notice.
